We have a lot to celebrate at The Beacon, and more excitement is on the way!
Our new and improved website has officially launched, marking the beginning of an exciting new chapter for 2020 The Beacon! And what better way to celebrate than with some great music and a very special Djd Invasion?
The fun begins tonight at 7 PM Eastern (6 PM Central, 5 PM Mountain, 4 PM Pacific). From dance to upbeat pop, rock and country, tonight’s lineup is all about having fun and celebrating the start of this new era for The Beacon!
But that’s not all that’s happening tonight!
At 7:30 PM Eastern, we have a special guest joining us: Tony Gebhard!
Tony is a musician, author, assistive technology professional, developer and advocate with quite a story to tell. He’s released an extensive catalog of music that he writes, performs, records, engineers and produces himself. He’s also the author of No Sight Required: The Blind User’s Guide to AI, teaches adaptive technology to blind and low-vision people, and develops accessible technology of his own.
We’ll talk about Tony’s journey, his music and what drives him creatively, blindness and assistive technology, accessibility, AI and what it can mean for blind people, the projects he’s building, and plenty more. Most of all, this is a chance to get to know Tony and see where the conversation takes us!
